Stainless Steel Doors

Our doors are full, solid stainless steel and completely weather tight.

Standard Fabrication consists of the following…

• Double-wall construction with internal bracing and blanketed with fiberglass inner-core insulation
• Inner-core insulation reinforced along entire hinge rail, top rail and lock location
• Door and bracing is TYPE 304, 18-8, 18 ga. stainless steel
• Door hinge is 3” open x 3/16” dia. Pin, TYPE304, 18-8 ga. stainless steel
• Stainless steel full-length piano hinge
• Frame is TYPE 304, 18-8, 18 ga. stainless steel and is four sided with all corners integrally welded and polished
• Door stops use a spring loaded neoprene gasket system on top, bottom and sides to assure thermal and acoustic protection for a demanding marine environment. All stop components, except gasket, shall be TYPE 304, 18-8, 18 ga. stainless steel
• Welding for bracing to door panels shall be free of weld distortion
• All visible stainless steel surfaces shall be polished to a #4 satin finished
• Fixed window shall be clear 1/4” laminated safety glass with 3” radius corners installed in door with weather tight rubber seal and stainless steel escutcheon
• Door lock shall be Trio Ving#5312 with escutcheons, cylinder lock, thumbturn, spindle, levers and striker plate welded to door frame. All door locks shall be keyed alike
• Each door shall be custom made to fit opening and bulkhead thickness
